This week and next week Mark Davis is our guest speaker. He will be talking about how the Bible was written, edited and assembled. If you are interested in the type of work that Bart Ehrman does, you might like James Kugel. He is a Harvard professor who has written a book on the Bible that includes a lot of Christian theology. It was used as a textbook in a Princeton Theological Seminary Old Testament course and is terrific. The first two chapters cover much of what Mark will discuss in the next two weeks.
